Ticket Purchase, Cancellation, Refund, Exchange and Access Terms and Conditions
The EMM has defined the policy for purchase of tour tickets and merchandise purchased in the gift store. For the purposes of these policies, all times are considered to be Eastern Standard Time (Daylight Savings Time when applicable). All purchases, refunds and exchanges are deemed to have occurred at St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be settled using the applicable laws of Ontario and Canada.
1) Submarine Tour Ticket Purchase, Individual and Small Tour Group Tickets
Tickets for HMCS OJIBWA tours can be purchased on-line, by phone or in person up to 5:00 PM EST the day before the desired tour date as follows: On-line: www.hmcsojibwa.ca

Same-day tickets are available on-site in Port Burwell only.
Payment - Individual and Small-Group Tickets
Bookings made through this site will be paid for on arrival at the submarine.
Refund/Exchange of Tickets Purchased
As payment is not made until you arrive for your tour, adjustments for changes in numbers or type (adult, senior, child) can be made at that time.
If you wish to change your tour time, please contact the museum by email (emmcurator@gmail.com) or by calling the museum at 519-633-0594.
2) Prices, Product Offerings and Tour Packages
The Museum reserves the right to change prices, produce offerings and tour packages without notice.
Access Policy
The EMM reserves the right to set access limits on age, agility, and other qualifiers for visitors allowed access to the interior of Ojibwa.
1) Age Restriction
For the purposes of admissions, children are defined as between the ages of 8 and 17. Children under the age of eight (8) are not permitted inside the submarine (the Submariner's Tour). Children of any age can tour the outside of the submarine (the Fish Eye tour). The Museum reserves the right to confirm the age of any child who appears in the opinion of the Museum to be outside the designated ages of 8 to 17 to qualify for children's ticket prices. Tickets purchased in breach of this policy will not be honoured or refunded.
Each child between the ages of 8-17 must be accompanied by parent or guardian (over the age of 18).
2) Accessibility
HMCS OJIBWA was designed as a war ship and as such was intended for active duty naval personnel. All visitors to the inside of the submarine (the Submariner's tour or the Greater Depths tour) must be able to demonstrate sufficient agility to climb stairs, navigate oval and round hatches, and narrow companionways and stairs unaided. The nature of the vessel precludes the use of wheelchairs, walkers and some mobility aids. Other mobility aids will be assessed on a case by case basis.
To maintain appropriate agility, hands must be free at all times. The Museum reserves the right to limit carry-on items.
3) Pets and Service Animals
Pets of any size are not permitted. Visitors requiring trained service animals may take them on their tour.
4) Impairment
Impairment may pose a safety risk to the potential visitor, other museum visitors, and/or museum staff. Museum staff reserves the right to restrict or deny access to any visitor exhibiting signs of impairment from alcohol, drugs, or any other substance.
5) Dress Code
All visitors to the submarine will be asked to comply with an appropriate code of dress for safety and agility.
Mandatory: Shoes; pants/shorts/skirts/dresses; shirts
Due to the nature of the vessel, the Museum recommends that the following articles NOT to be worn aboard the submarine: Flip flops, sandals, open-toed shoes, high heeled shoes, platform shoes; Very short or tight skirts or dresses that restrict movement; Loose jewelry or accessories; Baggy and/or loose clothing
Prohibited: Large bags, backpacks
Food and Beverages
Food cannot be taken aboard the vessel. Drinks, with the exception of water, are not permitted.
